[Inaugural Address] The Vice President of G-CEO ( Scott D. Bedford)

Dear Global Enterprise CEO Members, Ladies and Gentlemen,

By way of introduction my name is Scott Bedford and it is my great honor and privilege to serve as Vice President of our esteemed Association. In my capacity as Vice Chairman I look forward to serving you, our most valued members in the delivery of our

G-CEO objectives.

I strongly believe that, the composition of our membership with backgrounds in many diverse industries is our single strongest asset. Our monthly G-CEO Association meetings aim to cultivate this asset and deliver a unique member experience.

Through our community we aim to provide a friendly and open environment for industry leaders and likeminded professionals to not only network, but also share their experiences in an informal setting. Our association also provides a forum for developing new ways of thinking and experiencing how our community members manage their respective businesses in our local, as well as the ever challenging global economy.

Our association also serves as an ideal facilitator for our members to give back to those outside of the G-CEO community: giving back to the business & general community in which we are fortunate enough to hold our leadership roles and run our respective businesses.

In keeping with the theme of our Chairman Mr. Kyung Kim’s message, our association provides a unique opportunity for each of us to be more actively involved in causes separate to our monthly meetings. I refer to these as ‘causes of substance’ and they can include providing guidance in career development, talent mentoring, advanced leadership development, and various other community based volunteering programs to name but a few. I encourage you to join us in working with our Chairman to implement his “diverse community programs” initiative over the coming year.

On a more personal note I look forward to working with our G-CEO community to enrich not only the experiences of our members, but those whom we may affect directly or indirectly in our day to day capacity as leaders in our outstanding Korean business community.
